Organic food is produced by farmers who emphasize the use of renewable resources and the conservation of soil and water to enhance environmental quality for future generations. Organic meat, poultry, eggs and dairy products come from animals that are given no antibiotics or growth hormones. Organic food is produced without using most conventional pesticides; fertilizers made with synthetic ingredients or sewage sludge; bioengineering; or ionizing radiation. Before a product can be labeled organic, a government-approved certifier inspects the farm where the food is grown to make sure the farmer is following all the rules necessary to meet USDA-organic standards. Companies that handle or process organic food before it gets to your local supermarket or restaurant must be certified, too.

USDA Certification
The agency inspectors certify the quality and acceptability of applicable products in accordance with agency procedures, which include selecting random samples of the packaged item, evaluating the samples for conformance with the salient characteristics of the contractual requirements and documenting the findings on official score sheets and/or certificates. When required, agency inspectors will examine the product for conformance to the United States Standards for Condition of Food Containers in effect on the date of the inspection.
Regulatory Requirements for USDA Certification
For all products that contain a meat food product, the meat food product and the finished canned sauce originate and are produced and processed in plants regularly operating under Meat and Poultry Inspection Regulations of the USDA. The delivered product complies with all applicable Federal, State and local mandatory requirements and regulations relating to the preparation, packaging, labeling, storage, distribution and sale of the item within the commercial marketplace. Delivered product complies with all applicable provisions of the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act, and the Fair Packaging and Labeling Act.
In other words, we know how to process and cook all kinds of meat and poultry, how to obtain the flavor profile you want and how to do it safely and efficiently.
